The Color Jet Neptune uses the DOD inkjet technology, which ensures proper ink supply to utilize cost of print head in terms of life, speed and quality, besides troublefree operation.

The other feature of Neptune is the digital PID controls for heaters, which according to Color Jet increases efficiency and reliability. The vacuum bed holds the media while the print head drives give vibration-free and smooth carriage movement helping in achieving high printing speed with minimum wear and tear the 3.2-metre-wide Neptune prints at 240 sq/ft per hour at 720 DPI. Color Jet has an upgraded model, the Terra, which also uses the Konica Minolta print heads and is a 1.8-metre wide CMYK cm printer. It prints at 1,440 DPI at 120 sq/ft per hour.
